Part-Time Occupational Therapist Position

Knysna Education Trust is looking for a dynamic occupational therapist to join the Blocks for Growth Team working on a targeted intervention programme for 4 – 5 years olds in the Early Childhood Development sector. This post is for two mornings a week.

Minimum Requirements

· An Occupational therapy degree and completed community service.

· Registration with HPCSA as an independent practitioner.

· Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

· Confident driver with a valid driver’s license and using their own transport.

· Computer literate in all Google and Microsoft programmes.

· Afrikaans as a home language will be given preference.

· Contactable references.

Preferential Work Experience

· Early intervention or pediatric therapy intervention, both in an individual and group setting

· School-based occupational therapy intervention with some knowledge of education policies and documents
