SUMMARY

A hands-on career opportunity is available within the FMCG sector for a Mechanical Fitter in the Western Cape.

POSITION INFO

In this role, you will maintain and repair machinery, identify and resolve mechanical faults, support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, and contribute to improvements in production processes. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Experience with production machinery, mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and equipment commissioning will be essential to your success. To be considered, candidates should hold Matric, N3 and a Mechanical Fitter Trade Test. This role also requires 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter within the FMCG sector. Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills, together with the ability to troubleshoot effectively, work flexible hours, hold a valid passport (for regular travel in Africa), are required. Experience working on ammonia refrigeration systems will be plus.
