Senior Draughtsman: Industrialisation

An established manufacturing company in Centurion is recruiting for a Senior Draughtsman in SolidWorks and/or Inventor. N5 Multi-disciplinary draughting diploma or N5/N6 Mechanical Engineering qualification. Must have worked in the industrialisation of products.

Minimum requirements:

• N5 Multi-disciplinary draughting diploma or N5/N6 Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Must have worked in the industrialisation of products.
• 5 years of working experience in SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
• Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of dimensioning and tolerances.
• Machining and assembly processes

Responsibilities:

• Create thorough, detailed assembly drawings and assembly instructions from layouts.
• Convert hand sketches into CAD
• Plot and manage CAD files, original plots, and manage the electronic file backups.
• Database management.
