SUMMARY

An established service-driven organisation is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Logistics or Warehouse Manager to lead operational, logistics and service delivery functions within its Polokwane branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service operations, fleet and asset management, staff supervision, stock control, route planning and overall branch efficiency.

POSITION INFO

Duties & Responsibilities Manage all service-related operational activities within the branch. Oversee vehicle, fleet and asset management. Ensure staff compliance with company policies, procedures and dress code standards. Coordinate branch logistics, routing and scheduling of service activities. Monitor service documentation and contract-related service records. Manage driver licence compliance and fuel usage reporting. Supervise loading, receiving and movement of stock. Take ownership of stock take processes and inventory control. Manage mobile handheld service devices and related reporting. Plan and coordinate installations and withdrawals. Conduct regular team meetings and manage staff performance. Ensure effective people, equipment and operational resource management. Monitor financial performance and understand operational cost drivers. Plan vehicle maintenance schedules and manage weekly vehicle inspections. Coordinate ad hoc deliveries when required. Drive employee training and development initiatives. Desired Experience & Qualification Grade 12 / Matric. Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management. HR Management-related qualifications/courses advantageous. Minimum 5 years' experience within a service environment. Minimum 3 years' experience within a distribution/logistics environment. Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills. Computer literacy and experience managing operational reporting. Sound understanding of logistics, fleet management and stock control.
