Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team in Cape Town.

This is a full-time, office-based role responsible for managing and growing The Magnificent Barista Boys social media presence across all platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and scheduling social media content
• Creating engaging photo, video, and written content
• Managing our online community by responding to comments and messages
• Monitoring social media performance and reporting on key metrics
• Working closely with the marketing, events, and operations teams
• Capturing content at events, stores, and workplace coffee stations
• Helping grow brand awareness, engagement, and online sales

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience managing social media accounts
• Strong content creation skills, including photography, video, and copywriting
• Excellent understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is advantageous
• An interest in coffee, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a bonus
