POSITION INFO

Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Allocate work to technicians, monitor productivity, and ensure jobs are completed to quality and safety standards. Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), scheduling, workshop profitability, maintenance contracts, and budget performance. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching to workshop technicians and apprentices. Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and staff development initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, workshop procedures, OEM standards, and health and safety legislation. Maintain high standards of workmanship through quality inspections and continuous monitoring of completed work. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, service reviews, and prompt resolution of technical or service-related issues. Prepare and present operational reports on workshop performance, productivity, quality, and financial results. Ensure all workshop administration, documentation, and job records are completed accurately and on time. Drive customer service excellence by ensuring quick response times and professional service delivery. Identify and implement process improvements to increase workshop efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Ensure workshop facilities, equipment, and tools are maintained in a safe and operational condition. Support business growth by improving workshop performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and promoting continuous operational improvement. Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and achievement of business objectives.
