POSITION INFO

A pivotal opportunity exists for a strategic leader to shape the financial and administrative landscape of a key organisation within the healthcare sector. This role offers the scope to influence high-level decision-making, drive financial excellence, and ensure robust governance across a complex environment. Duties: Contribute as a member of the executive management team, guiding the organisation's strategic direction. Formulate and oversee the implementation of the organisation’s financial strategy. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and prepare, coordinate, and analyse financial statements. Align finance functions with business initiatives and objectives. Review and develop financial systems and policies to strengthen governance and internal controls. Identify areas for cost management improvements and oversee operational and capital expenditure budgets. Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for organisational needs. Oversee financial administration of grants, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Manage the infrastructure and facilities to maintain operational excellence. Facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including auditors. Lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, treasury, revenue management, and performance monitoring. Establish and maintain effective risk management and internal control systems. Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance division. Requirements: Minimum of 15 years' experience in senior financial leadership roles. Charted Accountant (CA) Honours Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics OR relevant post graduate qualification in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics Proven expertise in stakeholder management, leadership, financial analysis, and systems. Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and governance. Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and influence across organisational levels. Relevant industry experience in finance, government, or healthcare sectors.
