About Seshego Benefit Consulting

At Seshego Benefit Consulting, we believe every employee deserves to fully understand and maximise their healthcare benefits. We are a dynamic, people-first consultancy dedicated to bridging the gap between corporate clients and the often-complex world of healthcare benefits. Our team is passionate, driven, and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience - and we are looking for someone who shares that passion. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships, simplifying complex information, and genuinely making a difference in people's lives, this role was made for you.

What You’ll Do

As a Healthcare Client Care Specialist, you will be the trusted face of Seshego for our corporate clients and their employees. Your days will be varied, rewarding, and full of real impact:

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate clients. Build trusted, long-term relationships by delivering proactive, professional support that helps employees navigate and fully utilise their healthcare benefits.

Benefits Education & Wellness Workshops: Facilitate engaging on-site and virtual training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one consultations. Transform complex benefit structures into clear, actionable guidance that empowers employees to make the best decisions for their health and wellbeing.

Claims & Query Resolution: Handle member queries, claims submissions, and benefit-related escalations with speed and care. Own the resolution process end-to-end, ensuring clients always feel supported and heard.

New Member Onboarding: Guide new members through the enrolment process with clarity and warmth. Accurately capture applications, manage scheme changes, and ensure every new member feels confident from day one.

Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and produce insightful reports. Support the broader consulting team with general administrative functions to keep operations running smoothly.

Who We’re Looking For

• Fluency in English and at least one African language - your ability to communicate with diverse clients across cultural contexts is a significant advantage.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the healthcare benefits sector, ideally within an employee benefits consultancy, managed care organisation, or medical scheme administration environment.

• FAIS Accreditation (RE5) is required. RE1 is an advantage.

• NQF Level 5 qualification or higher in a relevant field is strongly preferred.

• Solid knowledge of South African healthcare products, medical schemes legislation (Medical Schemes Act), and industry regulations.

• Strong computer literacy - proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), or Google Suite and LLM platforms - is essential.

• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence - essential for client site visits.

Why Join Seshego?

We are more than a consultancy - we are a team that genuinely cares about people. When you join Seshego Benefit Consulting, you can expect:

• A competitive, salaried package that rewards your expertise and ensures financial stability.

• A collaborative, supportive team culture where your contributions are valued and your growth is actively encouraged.

• Meaningful work - every day you will be helping real people understand their healthcare options and access the support they need.

• Opportunities to grow your career in a thriving and purpose-driven organisation.
