Our client in the Industrial Instrumentation and Valve Solutions industry is seeking to employ an External Technical Sales / Sales Engineer to join their team based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO

Requirements: Technical qualification would be an advantage. Matric / Grade 12. Extensive technical knowledge of Instrumentation and Valves would be an advantage. Good sales background with a proven track record would be an advantage. Must be a self-starter with a proactive approach. Own reliable transport is essential. Must be willing to travel extensively. Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities : Call on and service the existing client base. Expand the existing client base. Plan and conduct sales calls. Complete and submit call plans and call reports. Prepare and submit quotations to customers. Prepare and deliver sales presentations. Ensure sales budgets are achieved. Plan and execute market penetration strategies. Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products. Liaise with customers on a regular basis to ensure service levels meet expectations. Evaluate policies and procedures relating to customer satisfaction and make recommendations where required. Promote the company's products and services while maintaining strong customer relationships. Contribute to the overall profitability and growth of the branch.
