Where You'll Make an Impact: Provide strategic financial leadership as a core member of the Executive Management Team. Develop and implement innovative financial strategies aligned with the organization’s objectives. Oversee comprehensive financial functions including planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, and reporting. Manage operational and capital budgets to optimise resource utilization. Ensure ongoing financial sustainability through effective cash flow management. Guarantee compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), statutory requirements, and accounting standards. Lead the preparation and review of annual financial statements, statutory returns, and executive reports. Strengthen financial governance, internal control frameworks, and enterprise risk management. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings. Manage financial administration of grants and compliance with funding stipulations. Provide strategic oversight of facilities and infrastructure expenditure. Lead and develop the Finance Division, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. Duties: Provide strategic financial direction and leadership. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Manage treasury functions and cash flow. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Oversee internal controls and risk management frameworks. Coordinate internal and external audits. Manage funding and grant financial administration. Lead team development within the Finance Division. Requirements: CA(SA) qualification. Minimum of 15 years senior financial management experience. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong stakeholder management capabilities. Excellent analytical and risk management skills. Sound understanding of financial planning and corporate governance. Proficiency in financial compliance and governance standards. Familiarity with the following: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) Government healthcare and accounting standards. Corporate finance, including M&A.
