SUMMARY

Luxury Hotel based in Stellenbosch is looking for a Room Attendant.

You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public areas within a hotel.

You will perform a variety of tasks to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for guests, including cleaning, restocking and maintaining a tidy environment.

POSITION INFO

Duties: Cleaning guest rooms: this includes making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking supplies like towels and toiletries. Cleaning public areas: maintaining the cleanliness of hallways, elevators, lobbies, and other common areas. Restocking supplies: ensuring a sufficient supply of cleaning products, linens, amenities, and other items needed for cleaning and guest comfort. Reporting any issues: notifying management of any maintenance problems or guest complaints. Maintaining a clean and organized environment: ensuring rooms are clean and presentable, and that all items are properly stored and organized. Assisting with other tasks: such as laundry, linen management, or guest service. Requirements: Grade 12 At least 2 - 3 years' experience in a large, luxury hotel environment. Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and chemical cleaning uses Able to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and order. Physical Stamina Able to manage tasks efficiently and keep track of supplies. Able to complete assignments within a specific timeframe, particularly during busy seasons. Excellent communication skills
