This role exists to turn "just looking" into "where do I sign," and to make sure warm leads never go cold on your watch. You're the one working the pipeline like it owes you money, tailoring every approach so it lands rather than just gets sent.
What you'll do
- Work the Pipeline: Own the full sales pipeline and convert interest into signed business.
- Move First: Respond to leads before they've finished typing, and keep every warm lead warm.
- Plan the Outbound: Drive outbound activity with a real plan, not a prayer, prioritising the accounts most worth your time.
- Tailor the Pitch: Shape your sales approach to each prospect so it connects, backed by strong presentation skills.
You'll thrive here if you have
- 5+ years of sales experience, ideally selling B2B software as a service straight to companies.
- Matric, essential. Nothing further required on paper.
- Client management chops: the ability to build and hold strong relationships through the full sales cycle.
- Tech fluency: comfortable working in a digital environment, with a working knowledge of iOS and hands-on experience with CRM systems.
- Industry edge: solid knowledge of the HR Tech and broader Tech SaaS landscape.
Bonus points for
- Having sold in the SaaS or HR industry specifically.
- A track record of building outbound reach yourself rather than waiting for leads to land.
- Keeping pace with fast-moving digital technology.
