Role Purpose

We are looking at a dynamic

Business Analyst to join a team that develops a modern, digital adviser practice solution suite/ecosystem that allows the financial advice practices to manage their clients, advice, and products. The business analyst will collaborate with the architects,

UX/UI designers and Product Owners to ascertain the concept designs, user experienced designs and technical solution designs, and analyse trade offs between business needs and system constraints

Requirements

Qualification(s)

  • Project management qualification (Desirable)
  • Business Analysis certification (e.g. BABOK, CBAP) (Desirable)
  • Information Technology or related degree (Essential)

Experience

  • 3-5 Years’ Business Analysis or related experience (e.g. Testing or Business Systems Analysis)
  • Experience in modelling, solution testing and verification
  • Financial services experience in client and adviser context (Essential)
  • Experience in working with cross-functional project teams (Essential)
  • Experience in digital capabilities and Software as a Service essential

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understanding the business vision and problem statement, mapping the current capabilities and gaps, conducting various stakeholder workshops and interviews, prioritizing the requirements based on statistical data as well client/business pain points
  • Defining various artifacts to illustrate the business architecture
  • Writing the functional requirement specifications based on the business requirements.
  • Produce Business Analysis artefacts and documents
  • Conduct and manage internal workshops with developers, testers and IT team to communicate requirements, convey scope of the project
  • Convey requirements in different level of detail, technical proficiency and points of view utilizing standard modeling tools
  • Assist Product Owners and Product Managers with relating business analysis information in the project life cycle
  • Understanding business requirements by going through the concept documents/ workshops with the business/clients – providing input
  • Analysis of the business requirements and the requirements/queries during the development phase
  • Participate in User Acceptance testing and guide users to ensure that the designed solution ultimately meets business requirements
  • Stay abreast- of development in field of expertise ensuring personal and professional growth
  • Actively promote and contribute to the organization’s Business Analysis centre of excellence in defining the BA practices for the business unit
