SUMMARY

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Manage and reconcile inventory records between physical stock counts and ERP/accounting systems Investigate stock variances, adjustments, write-offs and inventory discrepancies Support regular stock counts, cycle counts and year-end inventory audits Prepare and analyse inventory valuation reports in line with accounting standards Track manufacturing, production and stock-related costs, including cost of goods sold Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged or excess stock and provide reporting to management Maintain accurate stock accounting records, journals and balance sheet reconciliations Work closely with Warehouse, Procurement, Production and Finance teams to improve stock control Support internal controls around inventory movement, receiving, issuing and stock adjustments Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis related to inventory and production Provide stock reports and variance analysis to management and Divisional Finance Engage with auditors and support audit requirements relating to inventory balances Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve stock accuracy and support operational efficiency Ensure compliance with company inventory policies, financial controls and audit requirements
