As the Principal Solutions Consultant & Enablement Specialist – Sage Intacct, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating revenue growth, enabling partner success, and driving presales excellence across the Sage Intacct ecosystem.

This is a senior strategic leadership role that combines expert solution consulting, enterprise presales, solution architecture, and enablement leadership. As the recognised Sage Intacct Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will work alongside Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, Business Partners, and Executive Leadership to shape customer transformation journeys, influence strategic opportunities, and elevate the capability of our internal teams and partner network.

You will lead complex customer engagements, design innovative cloud financial management solutions, develop scalable enablement programmes, and champion best practices that improve sales effectiveness, partner readiness, solution adoption, and competitive success. Through thought leadership, coaching, and collaboration, you will help position Sage Intacct as the financial management solution of choice across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accelerate revenue growth by providing strategic solution consulting and presales leadership across complex opportunities.
  • Increase sales effectiveness through world-class enablement programmes for Sales, Presales, and Business Partners.
  • Improve win rates by delivering compelling customer engagements, solution strategies, and value-based demonstrations.
  • Drive adoption of Sage Intacct by positioning its business value and competitive advantages.
  • Establish and champion presales excellence through consistent methodologies, governance, and best practices.
  • Build scalable enablement content, learning pathways, and reusable assets that strengthen organisational capability.
  • Foster a high-performing Sage Intacct ecosystem through collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Presales Leadership

  • Lead qualification, discovery, solution architecture, and demonstration activities for strategic and enterprise Sage Intacct opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop winning sales strategies that maximise customer value and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate executive discovery workshops to uncover business priorities, financial challenges, and digital transformation objectives.
  • Deliver engaging, outcome-focused demonstrations that clearly articulate the value of Sage Intacct.
  • Develop compelling business cases, value propositions, and return on investment (ROI) analyses to support executive decision-making.
  • Act as the trusted solution advisor throughout complex sales cycles, guiding customers from initial engagement through solution validation.
  • Support enterprise, multi-entity, and large-scale cloud ERP opportunities with strategic and technical expertise.

Solution Consulting & Architecture

  • Analyse customer business processes and identify opportunities to modernise financial operations through cloud ERP.
  • Design scalable Sage Intacct solutions aligned with operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead fit-gap assessments, solution design workshops, and business requirements sessions.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrations, reporting, automation, multi-entity structures, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to define implementation scope and ensure a seamless transition from presales to delivery.
  • Advise customers on finance transformation strategies, cloud adoption, governance, and operational excellence.

Sage Intacct Enablement Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive enablement strategies for Sales, Presales, and Business Partners.
  • Design structured learning pathways, certification programmes, and competency frameworks that accelerate capability development.
  • Deliver engaging workshops, webinars, bootcamps, and partner acceleration programmes.
  • Build and maintain demonstration environments, demo scripts, and customer use cases that showcase real business value.
  • Develop high-impact enablement resources, including sales playbooks, battle cards, discovery guides, ROI tools, and competitive positioning materials.
  • Lead onboarding programmes for Solutions Consultants and Partner Consultants to ensure rapid productivity.
  • Measure enablement effectiveness using defined performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Partner Enablement & Ecosystem Growth

  • Serve as the strategic enablement lead for the Sage Intacct Business Partner community.
  • Conduct partner readiness and capability assessments to identify development opportunities.
  • Deliver product, solution consulting, and demonstration training that enhances partner performance.
  • Support certification initiatives and technical competency development across the partner ecosystem.
  • Coach partners in delivering customer-focused solution presentations and executive demonstrations.
  • Promote consistent presales methodologies and best practices that strengthen customer engagement and sales success.
  • Build long-term partner capability, self-sufficiency, and sustainable growth.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor, coach, and inspire Solutions Consultants and Presales professionals to achieve technical and consulting excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Professional Services, Business Partners, and Executive Leadership.
  • Support succession planning and contribute to the ongoing development of high-performing teams.
  • Share industry expertise, competitive intelligence, and market insights to strengthen organisational capability.
  • Establish and uphold presales and enablement standards that drive quality, consistency, and customer success.
  • Coach teams on consultative selling, executive engagement, and value-based solution positioning.

Industry Thought Leadership

  • Maintain deep expertise in Sage Intacct, emerging cloud technologies, and evolving financial management trends.
  • Develop industry-specific solution strategies that address customer challenges and market opportunities.
  • Represent Sage at customer events, executive briefings, conferences, webinars, and partner forums.
  • Produce thought leadership content, best-practice guidance, and enablement resources that position Sage as an industry leader.
  • Champion Sage Intacct across the region by promoting innovation, customer success, and digital transformation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines:

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in ERP, Financial Management, SaaS, or enterprise business software solutions.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, Solution Engineering, or Solution Architecture.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Sage Intacct or comparable cloud financial management platforms.
  • Proven success delivering enablement programmes, technical training, and capability development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Business Partners and indirect sales channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise sales engagements and influence executive stakeholders.

Travel Requirements

  • Frequent travel to customer sites and Business Partner locations across the region.
  • Delivery of regional enablement programmes, workshops, and certification initiatives.
  • Participation in sales kick-offs, conferences, partner events, executive briefings, and customer engagements.
  • Occasional international travel as required.
