SUMMARY

A well-established financial services business is seeking to appoint a Chief Investment Officer.

The Chief Investment Officer is responsible to ensure that the Fund is financially sustainable and viable by providing leadership and oversight in the development of long- and short-term fund

management and investment strategy & plans. To manage the acquiring, selling and disposing of capital and financial assets.

POSITION INFO

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Financial Management / Accounting related qualification. Post graduate qualification in Finance/ Financial Management / Accounting related qualification. Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) or related designation will be an added advantage. Post graduate qualification in Business Management or Administration will be an added advantage. Experience: Relevant 12-15 years' experience of which 7 (seven) years must have been at a general/senior management level. Advanced Investment knowledge across asset classes and experience in the financial service industry with direct experience in institutional portfolio management and overseeing investments risk management and/or compliance functions for a public entity.
