POSITION INFO

Based in Midrand , we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with a solid accounting foundation who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking to broaden their exposure across the full finance function. Education and Experience National Diploma or B.Com Degree in Accounting only Minimum 2 years' relevant accounting experience Strong understanding of the full finance function Proficient in MS Excel and accounting system Key Responsibilities Manage the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports. Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including VAT submissions. Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors where required. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective planning, organisational, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
