Position: Project Planner

Employment Type: 16 month contract position
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the work of the two project planners.
- Review and approve project schedules, updates, forecasts, and reports before client submission.
- Act as the main point of contact for all planning and schedule-related communication with the client.
- Facilitate planning and progress meetings with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Monitor progress against approved baselines and identify delays, variances, critical path changes, and schedule risks.
- Consolidate planning information across both projects and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure contractor schedules are properly integrated into the project master schedules.
- Review lookahead schedules, recovery plans, and schedule impact assessments.
- Coordinate with cost control, risk, change management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Ensure all schedules comply with client standards, contractual requirements, and project controls procedures.
Required Skills And Experience
5-10 Years experience as a project planner
Relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
Strong project planning and scheduling experience within construction, energy, renewable energy, or EPC projects.
Previous experience supervising planners or coordinating planning activities across multiple projects.
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Strong client communication, reporting, analytical, and leadership skills.
Solar or renewable energy project experience will be advantageous.
