Senior C# Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior C# Developer to join a dynamic software development team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable C# applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and optimise RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in system architecture, design discussions and technical planning.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with SQL databases to develop and optimise data-driven applications.
• Support software deployments and ongoing application maintenance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote technical excellence within the team.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of professional C# development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong SQL database development and optimisation skills.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS will be advantageous.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field will be advantageous.
