KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Supervision on all levels of work in the department.
  • Ensure that orders are loaded correctly and according to standards.
  • Administrative duties.
  • Adhere to all company policies, rules, safety and hygiene.
  • Must be aware of all risks in the department and report them as and when required.
  • Reporting any incidents in the department to management.
  • Routine monitoring in plant: pest control, storerooms, loading, etc.
  • Conduct frequent Quality control checks.
  • Routine sampling and taking of swabs.
  • Pre-operative inspections.
  • Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Any ad hoc duties are required

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • More than 3 years’ experience as Junior Supervisor.
  • Experience as a Quality Controller in a meat / food processing plant an advantage.
  • Must be proficient in English (Other languages an advantage).
