Architectural Technologist - Pretoria (Lynnwood)

An established architectural and engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join its Pretoria team. This opportunity is suited to a motivated professional with experience in large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects who enjoys taking projects from concept through construction. Urgent hire for August.

• Prepare sketch illustrations in Revit based on the architect's design brief.
• Produce and coordinate council submission documentation, including SDP and building plan submissions.
• Develop detailed design documentation, technical drawings, specifications, and reports in line with SACAP Identification of Work regulations.
• Lead projects from concept to completion while meeting client requirements, project timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings, conduct quality control inspections, and monitor construction on behalf of the architect.
• Provide leadership and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's Honours Degree in Architecture or NQF Level 7 or 8 qualification.
• Eligible to register with SACAP as an Architectural Technologist.
• Eligibility to register as a Professional Architect will be advantageous.
• 5+ years of relevant architectural experience.
• Experience in running/managing a division.
• Experience working on large-scale mixed-use and complex commercial developments.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Lumion, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint will be advantageous.
• Strong technical ability, leadership skills, communication skills, and a proactive work ethic.
