An exciting opportunity exists to join the Shimansky Team in Cape Town in the position of a Social Media Specialist. The ideal candidate is one who has a passion for all things digital, is pro-active, enthusiastic, a lateral thinker and can stay abreast of changes in the online marketing field.

Key purpose of this role is to continuously drive positive reputation of the brand by creating relevant and credible stories and content that can be shared via different platforms, media channels and influencers (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, You Tube, Twitter, TikTok and more)

Responsible for creating, driving, and delivering all social media marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and awareness across all digital mediums.

Requirements

· Must travel to office i n Convention Tower CTICC , Cape Town: Monday - Friday

· Matric

· Related tertiary qualification in digital marketing

· Minimum 10 years of social media experience

· Experience in executing social media initiatives

· Experience in Video-editing as well as digital design

· Excellent understanding of the social media marketing

· Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and attention to detail

· Competency of industry systems and tools on Social Media Platforms, (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok ) and Google Analytics.

Responsibilities

· Creation, conception and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns

· Interpret and roll-out strategy and creative concepts

· Develop fresh creative ideas in line with social media and content trends

· Review reporting and deliver insights and recommendations
