Business Process Manager

The Business Process Manager is responsible for overall support of the IT systems underpinning all key business processes. This includes management of the support team and external development partners, as well as the IT systems used by the business. This role is expected to implement system enhancements and step change improvement projects in SAP and BI dashboarding solutions, and provide process and systems expertise, knowledge and support to the business super-users and junior IT support team. The key modules of expertise required to fulfill this role are the SAP WMS, SD and MM modules, but a high level knowledge of the other SAP modules, notably Fi / CO are required. Knowledge of data warehousing and BI analytics is also preferable.

• Oversight of support incidents raised across SAP, and support for the Junior Business Process Analysts to ensure incidents are closed out within MTTR
• Monitoring of user requests for enhancement / change and prioritization of work along with Executive Head of Information Technology
• Delivery of all core operations systems changes, from specification to deployment. Including management of development teams, solution validation and user training.
• Second line of support for all end users for business process and SAP issues – general support across all SAP modules
• Specialist support on MM, SD, and WMS modules, supporting core warehouse operations
• Training and education of end users
• Management of development team support tasks
• Lead SAP Project resource for strategic business / IT projects
• Design / solution definition and documentation.
• Full end to end project lifecycle management
• Project Management for small projects
• Requirements gathering for enhancements and new developments
• Create functional and technical specification documentation
• Manage internal and external consultants
• Perform SAP customization

• 5+ years experience in a logistics and warehousing organization performing IT support on SAP and SAP business processes in the WMS and MM modules
• SAP configuration experience in WMS and MM modules.
• SAP Implementation experience
• BI and SQL reporting experience, in terms of development and enhancement of an established data warehouse model
• Multiple years experiencing creating functional specs and design requirements to enhance the system / processes to resolve business issues or deliver performance improvements in the business, and delivering value to the organization thereafter
• Experience deploying both IT projects and programs, ideally in a logistics and warehousing organization
• Strong process orientated skillset to drive testing and improvement initiatives
• Team leadership experience with a proven track record of developing young IT talent
• Excellent communicator to all levels of an organization and with external clients as required
• Well disciplined, structured thinker, with exceptional work ethic.
