Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining, kitchen, and communal areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and catering equipment. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock. Support with laundry and general housekeeping duties as required. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control procedures. Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, visitors, and colleagues. Support the care team by assisting with non-clinical resident needs where appropriate. Skills and CompetenciesAbility to work effectively as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. Compassionate, patient, and respectful towards people living with disabilities. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality, catering, housekeeping, cleaning, or general assistant role will be advantageous.
