A growing
Digital Marketing Agency based in Cape Town is seeking a Digital Marketer to join their creative team. This is a full-time permanent position within the Digital Marketing / Creative Agency industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing digital marketing strategies, creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, executing paid media campaigns, and managing day-to-day client account delivery.

Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, or a related marketing role . Proven experience managing social media accounts, creating content, and running paid advertising campaigns . Experience working within a digital marketing agency environment advantageous. Strong content creation skills, including: Short-form video creation and editing. Social media content planning. Copywriting and storytelling. Designing engaging digital content for multiple platforms. Experience managing paid media campaigns , including: Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram Ads). Google Ads campaign creation, management, and optimisation. TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube advertising experience advantageous. Strong understanding of: Digital marketing strategy. Social media trends and algorithms. Customer journeys and marketing funnels. Paid campaign structures, targeting, and creative testing. Performance marketing and data-driven optimisation. Proficient with digital marketing and creative tools, including: Canva. CapCut. DaVinci Resolve. Figma. Google Workspace. Notion. Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager. Google Ads Manager. Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as: Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Meta Ads Manager reporting. TikTok/LinkedIn analytics. Metricool or similar platforms. Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to improve workflows, develop ideas, and enhance marketing output. Strong organisational skills with the ability to: Manage multiple client accounts. Work independently. Meet deadlines consistently. Take ownership of projects. Excellent communication skills with confidence managing client relationships. Strong creative eye with attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality content. Must be based in Cape Town or able to work from Woodstock. Advantageous: Experience with video production, including filming, directing, lighting, and editing. Knowledge of Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking. Experience creating landing pages using WordPress, Webflow, Framer, or similar platforms. Experience with email marketing campaigns and automation. Experience with marketing platforms such as Brevo or ActiveCampaign. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across assigned client accounts. Manage social media channels, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and optimisation. Create engaging and performance-focused content, including: Short-form videos. Reels and social media advertisements. Static graphics. Carousel posts. Stories and digital campaigns. Plan and manage content calendars aligned with brand objectives. Write engaging copy, captions, and campaign messaging. Conceptualise, shoot, and edit short-form video content for social media and paid campaigns. Create digital assets designed to improve engagement, brand awareness, and conversions. Set up, manage, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across: Meta Ads. Google Ads. TikTok Ads. LinkedIn Ads. YouTube Ads. Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations based on data insights. Prepare digital marketing reports and communicate campaign performance to clients. Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communication strategies. Support the creation of conversion-focused landing pages and digital marketing assets. Manage client tasks, deadlines, and project workflows using platforms such as Notion. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign delivery. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, content trends, AI developments, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and bring new creative ideas to the team.
