About Braun Management

Braun Management helps executive teams solve internal structural issues and organizational friction that hinder performance. We focus on providing evidence-backed conclusions and clear documentation to help leadership teams manage complex governance and operational challenges.

The role

Our South African client manages a diverse portfolio of services, and they require a Junior Automation Specialist to help refine the systems that support their day-to-day operations. This role exists to bridge the gap between manual processes and automated reporting, ensuring that data flows accurately across various platforms without losing its integrity. As a junior member of the team, you will work closely with our consultants to turn operational observations into reliable, automated workflows. This is a fully remote position that requires a disciplined approach to task management and a preference for precision over flair. You will help build the internal tools that make it easier for our clients to maintain accountability and clarity within their organizations.

What you will do

  • Document existing manual workflows to identify specific points of operational friction where errors or delays frequently occur.
  • Set up and maintain simple automation steps using low-code tools to connect disparate data systems.
  • Audit data entries regularly to ensure that administrative information remains accurate and consistent across the client's internal platforms.
  • Support the team in mapping out decision rights within digital tools to ensure that only the correct personnel have access to specific approvals.
  • Draft clear, written instruction manuals for colleagues to help them use internal automation systems without needing constant technical support.
  • Monitor automated processes daily to detect and resolve technical hiccups before they affect client services or reporting timelines.
  • Assist in the structural analysis of how our South African client handles its internal reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in team video calls to report on system performance and suggest logical improvements based on observed evidence.
  • Contribute to the long-term documentation of our internal technical library to ensure institutional knowledge is preserved.

What we are looking for

  • Basic familiarity with common automation tools or workflow platforms like Zapier or Make.
  • A strong interest in how complex business systems operate and a desire to see how digital tools influence organizational behavior.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain technical steps using plain, non-technical language.
  • High attention to detail and a natural preference for precise, well-organized data sets.
  • The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying focused on assigned objectives.
  • A logical mindset that enjoys solving small puzzles and improving how information is organized.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic data management principles, such as organizing columns and filtering reports.
  • A collaborative attitude and the willingness to learn about European business governance and structural consulting.

How we work

Braun Management operates as a fully remote team. We do not rely on constant video calls or quick instant messages to get things done. Instead, we prioritize deep work and thorough documentation. Every decision we make is recorded in writing to ensure clarity and long-term accountability. This approach allows us to maintain a professional and quiet working environment where staff can focus on solving structural problems without distraction. We expect every team member to be an active reader and a deliberate writer who values evidence over corporate slogans. This remote structure requires high levels of self-discipline, but it offers a calm and productive atmosphere for those who value intellectual rigor.

What we offer

  • Permanent, full-time employment with a focus on long-term career stability.
  • The flexibility of a fully remote role that allows you to work from your own professional environment.
  • Paid position with competitive and attractive compensation for this entry-level role and its responsibilities.
  • A workplace culture that values logical thinking, meticulous work, and honest communication.
  • Exposure to high-level consulting projects and international business operations involving diverse client structures.
  • Clear expectations and a focus on merit and actual output rather than time spent sitting at a desk.

As a Junior Automation Specialist, your work will provide the structural foundation that allows our South African client to manage their operations with greater precision. By refining these internal systems, you help eliminate the operational friction that often blocks meaningful growth in large organizations. Your contributions will ensure that the path forward for our clients is backed by accurate data and reliable processes. We believe that the most effective automation is not the most complex, but the one that most clearly serves the needs of the people using it.
