Contracts Manager - Building Projects

Our client has an opportunity for a skilled Contracts Manager to lead the successful execution of building projects within the Cape Town region. This role requires a proactive construction professional who can effectively manage people, programmes, budgets, and client expectations while ensuring exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all contractual and operational aspects of building construction projects.
• Plan, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead site management teams to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, health and safety legislation, and contractual requirements.
• Review project performance and prepare management reports.
• Resolve contractual, operational, and project-related challenges.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience managing building construction contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
