Test-Baker

The Test Baker is responsible for managing the demonstration bakery, showcasing baking equipment and ingredients, training customers, developing and optimizing recipes, and providing technical baking support to both clients and the sales team. The role combines hands-on baking with customer training and product application.

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the demonstration bakery.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customers.
• Train customers and their staff on bakery equipment and baking techniques.
• Assist clients with recipe development and optimization.
• Support store openings, product launches, and customer follow-ups.
• Manage bakery stock, ingredients and expenditure.
• Prepare and represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe bakery environment.
• Produce training reports and provide technical feedback to the sales team.

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• A Diploma in Professional Baking and Bakery Management (NQF Level 6) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' commercial baking experience.
