Project Engineer

Location: Offices in Meyersdal, Alberton

Our client is the supplier of new grinding mills, mill spares, refurbished plant equipment and turnkey project management. They are a fun and dynamic team. They are performance driven and have an open door policy. They have a low turn over and their staff is taken care of. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team.

• Required to manage his/her own projects in accordance with company’s specifications and requirements.
• Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects assigned and to establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.
• Management of project cost, timing, scope, freight and site works.
• Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.

Travelling requirements

• Periodic travel overseas

Qualifications

• Chemical / Mechanical engineering or Metallurgy degree.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering experience.
