Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership
- Recognised subject matter expert in a particular discipline — e.g., electromagnetic simulation, structural mechanics or embedded systems
- Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, IEC, ISO)
- Strong track record in novel product design and application of advanced technical solutions to real-world problems.
Computer Literacy
- MS Office (Proficient)
- MATLAB / Python / FEKO / HFSS / CST / Similar simulation and analysis tools (Beneficial)
Responsibilities
- Solves complex challenges with creativity, strategic insight and innovative thinking.
- Lead the design and development of complex technical systems, ensuring that solutions are manufacturable, cost-effective and meet customer requirements.
- Conduct simulations, analyses and testing to validate performance and compliance with engineering and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain tools, methods and metrics to monitor technical progress.
- Mentorship and growth of engineers and technicians.
