POSITION INFO

Role Overview An award-winning national residential property developer is seeking to appoint a SACPCMP Registered Candidate Construction Manager with 3 to 6 years'' experience in high-end residential developments. This is a hands-on, site-based role responsible for managing and coordinating all wetwork activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the company''s exacting quality standards. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and supervise all wetwork trades, including foundations, brickwork, plastering, screeding and tiling. - Plan construction activities and coordinate subcontractors, materials and work programmes. - Review drawings, specifications and variation orders prior to construction. - Ensure accurate site setting out and coordinate engineer inspections at critical stages. - Monitor workmanship, quality, progress and compliance with company standards. - Complete and review quality assurance inspections and construction checklists. - Monitor plant utilisation and provide regular progress reports to Site Management. - Promote and enforce Health & Safety compliance, including safe work practices, toolbox talks and PPE requirements. Minimum Requirements - SACPCMP Registered as a Candidate Construction Manager or higher is essential. - 3 to 6 years'' construction management experience on high-end residential developments. - Proven hands-on experience managing wetwork trades. - Grade 12 (Matric). - Building Diploma, Construction Management qualification or a recognised Trade qualification will be advantageous. - Valid driver''s licence and own reliable transport.
