Guest Service Co-Ordinator

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Guest Service Co-Ordinator within the Financial Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Welverdiend, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient accommodation and event management, effective facility maintenance, and accurate financial and stock administration. The role supports revenue growth through customer service excellence, marketing initiatives, occupancy management, and the successful execution of events and functions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee all maintenance and repairs on the Welverdiend site including student housing & permanent residences
• Obtain quotations and manage repair and maintenance costs
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained
• Daily cash-ups at nursery
• Control daily invoices and stock reports
• Monthly stock takes for the nursery
• Process goods received on AS400 and maintain stock control
• Prepare costings for functions and events
• Maintain Cardex records
• Complete card reconciliations for purchases across all operational areas
• Update and maintain rates on booking platforms and internal systems
• Marketing of Welverdiend on social media platforms and other marketing channels
• Planning and managing events
• Manage guesthouse bookings and occupancy
• Assist the Welverdiend Manager with initiatives to grow revenue and expand service offering
• Manage customer expectations and ensure a high standard of guest service

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Digital marketing and/or event management experience
• Computer literacy & basic IT knowledge
• Semper & online booking platform knowledge (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all time
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate personnel towards shared goals
• Have a passion to work in the industry
• Valid driver's license (Code 08)
