CONVEYANCER (TRANSFERS)
Northcliff, Johannesburg
Salary: Market Related / Highly Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)
A well-established and reputable law firm based in Northcliff is looking to appoint an experienced
Conveyancer to join their growing property department.
This opportunity is ideal for:
- An established Conveyancer currently practising independently with an existing client base; or
- A Senior Conveyancer with a proven track record who is confident in business development and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full transfer process from instruction to registration.
- Handling a broad range of transfer matters, including:
- Deceased Estate Transfers
- Commercial Property Transfers
- Property Developments
- Sectional Title Transfers
- Residential Transfers
- Conventional Transfers
- Providing clients with professional legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.
- Liaising with estate agents, banks, developers, municipalities, and the Deeds Office.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow the department.
Minimum Requirements
- Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer.
- Several years' experience handling a high-volume transfer independently.
- Experience across various transfer types, including residential, commercial, sectional title, developments, and deceased estate transfers.
- Strong business development and networking skills.
- Existing client base will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
