CONVEYANCER (TRANSFERS)

Northcliff, Johannesburg

Salary: Market Related / Highly Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)

A well-established and reputable law firm based in Northcliff is looking to appoint an experienced

Conveyancer to join their growing property department.

This opportunity is ideal for:

• An established Conveyancer currently practising independently with an existing client base; or
• A Senior Conveyancer with a proven track record who is confident in business development and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the full transfer process from instruction to registration.
• Handling a broad range of transfer matters, including:
• Deceased Estate Transfers
• Commercial Property Transfers
• Property Developments
• Sectional Title Transfers
• Residential Transfers
• Conventional Transfers
• Providing clients with professional legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.
• Liaising with estate agents, banks, developers, municipalities, and the Deeds Office.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow the department.

Minimum Requirements

• Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer.
• Several years' experience handling a high-volume transfer independently.
• Experience across various transfer types, including residential, commercial, sectional title, developments, and deceased estate transfers.
• Strong business development and networking skills.
• Existing client base will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
