Structural Engineer

Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their Johannesburg team. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineer with a passion for commercial building design and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs and engineering calculations for commercial building projects
• Develop structural models and drawings using Revit and Tekla
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
• Attend design meetings and provide technical input throughout project delivery
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and the professional team
• Review project documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Support the successful delivery of projects within programme and quality requirements

Requirements

• BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years' structural engineering experience
• Experience in commercial building design
• Proficiency in Revit and Tekla
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
