Leasing Manager - Johannesburg, Gauteng - R25,000 - R30,000 CTC per month (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the industrial property development, commercial real estate and logistics infrastructure sector. They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Leasing Manager to manage leasing activities across a growing portfolio of industrial and commercial properties.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a proven ability to secure new tenants, negotiate lease agreements and build strong relationships with brokers and clients.

• Actively market existing vacancies, new developments and off-plan developments within the property portfolio.
• Identify and secure new leasing opportunities through business development, networking and lead generation.
• Manage the lease renewal pipeline and prepare renewal proposals.
• Prepare and present leasing proposals for new rental opportunities.
• Conduct market research on rental trends, market demand and the logistics property sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, prospective tenants and key industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate and attend broker networking events and industry functions.
• Liaise with the Legal Department regarding lease agreements and supporting documentation.
• Conduct property viewings, inspections, site visits and tenant handovers.
• Maintain strong tenant relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
• Support the Finance Department with arrears rental management.
• Negotiate lease agreements for internal approval.
• Monitor legal matters relating to lease agreements.
• Prepare accurate bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly leasing reports.
• Work closely with the Development, Facilities, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Risk teams.
• Brief the Marketing Team on property brochures and promotional material.

• Relevant qualification in Property, Real Estate, Property Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Leasing Manager, Commercial Property Broker or similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully closing commercial leasing deals.
• Experience negotiating commercial lease agreements and legal contracts.
• Strong broker network and established client relationships.
• Experience within industrial, logistics or commercial property leasing.
• Working knowledge of financial feasibility analysis will be advantageous.
• MDA experience is preferred.
• Financial Modelling experience is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
