PBT Group is looking for an experienced Intermediate DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative technology team delivering enterprise-grade cloud solutions and modern software delivery practices.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud technologies and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with software engineers, infrastructure teams and architects to build and maintain secure, scalable and highly available environments while driving CI/CD best practices and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps & Automation

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

• Automate software build, testing and deployment processes.

• Improve deployment reliability, efficiency and release quality through automation.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes and engineering standards.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning cloud resources.

• Support scalable, secure and highly available cloud environments.

• Collaborate on cloud architecture and infrastructure improvements.

Containerisation & Platform Engineering

• Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker.

• Support Kubernetes (K8s) environments and container orchestration.

• Assist development teams with application deployments and platform optimisation.

Monitoring & Operational Support

• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch and related tools.

• Perform root cause analysis on production incidents.

• Support application stability and performance optimisation.

• Participate in production support and operational improvements.

Security & DevSecOps

• Embed security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Implement secure access controls and infrastructure configurations.

• Support vulnerability management and remediation activities.

• Promote DevSecOps principles across development teams.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Software Developers, Architects and Infrastructure Engineers.

• Contribute to technical design discussions and cloud architecture decisions.

• Support continuous delivery and operational excellence initiatives.

• Share knowledge and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Approximately 4–7 years' experience in a DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering role.

• Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices and automation.

• Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.

• AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect) will be highly advantageous.
