A well-established and prestigious wine estate in Constantia is looking for an experienced

Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator to join its finance team.

This hands-on role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of the full bookkeeping function across multiple business entities. If you have strong Xero experience, excellent reconciliation skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration

Process and reconcile transactions between POS systems and Xero

Accounts payable and accounts receivable

Bank, creditor, credit card and intercompany reconciliations

Payroll processing (weekly wages and monthly salaries)

VAT, EMP201 and journal processing

Prepare monthly management reports

Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes

Liaise with external accountants, auditors and service providers

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

Requirements

Relevant bookkeeping, accounting or finance qualification

Minimum

3 years' bookkeeping experience

Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)

Payroll processing experience

Excellent reconciliation and financial administration skills

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience working across multiple entities will be advantageous

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
