Job Position: Transport Depot Manager

Location: Germiston /Elsburg
Salary: R40 000 to R50 000 per month commensurate with experience

Working hours: 6 AM – 5 PM Monday to Friday and weekends if required - will be on 24/7 standby
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Valid drivers license essential
- Must live close enough to Elsburg
- Will manage 3 shift operation that runs 24/7 (must be willing to be on standby)
- Needs to have scheduling / supervising / yard / trucking / transport experience
- Experience in general logistics of trucking/transport environment
- Strong supervisory experience, essential
- Strong, confident, assertive, resilient, no-nonsense, sharp
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to step in for Controllers, if needed
- Checking of info relating to trucks
- Overseeing the loading and offloading of trucks
- Investigating of accidents
- Preparing of reports and ensure total accuracy
