Our Cabinet Maker plays a vital role in the Product Development and Manufacturing team by manufacturing high-quality prototypes and production jigs that enable the factory to consistently produce first-time-right products.

We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker with a passion for quality workmanship and extensive knowledge of solid wood furniture manufacturing. The successful candidate will be able to interpret technical drawings, operate woodworking machinery safely, and produce quality products that meet our manufacturing standards and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture furniture prototypes according to technical drawings and design specifications
  • Design and manufacture production jigs and templates to support efficient manufacturing
  • Operate and set up woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
  • Manufacture and assemble solid wood and veneered furniture components
  • Ensure all work meets quality, dimensional, and design specifications
  • Collaborate with the Product Development and Production teams to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain tools, machinery, and a clean, safe work environment
  • Comply with all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required by management

Skills and Requirements

  • Extensive cabinet making experience within a furniture manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of solid wood, veneers, and woodworking machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and working drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, dependable, and safety conscious

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker
  • Extensive experience working with solid wood and veneers
  • Experience in chair manufacturing using mortice and tenon construction will be advantageous
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
