Software Developer (ASP.NET / C# / SQL / Mobile)

Location: East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web and mobile applications, building secure and scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology projects.

Responsibilities

o Develop, maintain, and enhance ASP.NET (C#) web applications and mobile applications (Android/iOS).

o Design and integrate secure RESTful APIs between web and mobile platforms.

o Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and queries.

o Contribute to the design and implementation of new application features, dashboards, and workflow automation.

o Ensure applications meet security, performance, and data protection standards.

o Support cloud-based and hybrid deployment environments.

o Produce technical documentation and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Atleast 3 years' experience developing web and/or mobile applications using ASP.NET (C#), SQL Server/T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern mobile frameworks such as Xamarin, .NET MAUI, React Native, or Flutter.
• Experience with Visual Studio, IIS, RESTful API development, and relational database design.
• Strong understanding of application security, debugging, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms, GIS, IoT, Entity Framework, or data analytics tools will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders .
