SOFTWARE TESTER

Our client seeks to appoint an experienced and passionate Software Tester to join their vibrant team. As a Software Tester, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects.

Responsibilities Include

• Analyse use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Collaborate closely with other team members, including developers
• Execute all levels of testing (functional, user, integration, regression, domain, stress and scenario testing) depending on the software being tested
• Assist with UAT testing and training of users
• Detect, submit and test bugs
• Create and maintain documentation of test plans, reports and strategies (where necessary) to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved
• Analyse test results to advise stakeholders on the current state of the system and potential corrective action
• Test Automation
• Test in different environments including web and mobile
• Analyse logs and investigate the causes of failures of the live system
• Responsible for the release of the software to production environment

Must have Relevant Software Testing Certifications / Degree / Diploma with 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role, an appetite to learn new technologies / processes, enjoy being part of a team. Experience in the FMCG market will be an advantage as will experience in automation testing . You will need to have a good understanding of Databases and SQL and exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
