Project Manager - Renewable Energy

Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects from initial planning through to successful completion. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage project delivery, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence investigations and project feasibility assessments.
• Engage with clients to identify project requirements and define scopes of work.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders during project planning and design.
• Manage project applications, approvals and technical documentation.
• Oversee equipment selection in collaboration with Design Engineers.
• Plan project resources, materials and subcontractor requirements.
• Develop and manage project programmes and schedules.
• Lead construction activities, monitor quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage project budgets, subcontractor costs and material expenditure.
• Supervise Junior Engineers and provide technical guidance where required.
• Verify commissioning activities and oversee project handovers, including O&M documentation and client training.
• Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities for future business growth.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng, BSc Eng, BTech Engineering or BSc in Construction Management.
• Experience of at least 5 years in renewable energy, construction management or related engineering projects.
• Exposure to renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery energy storage, hydro or similar systems.
• Project Management or Construction Project Management qualification will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel between project sites as required.
