Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

Identity is at the core of most modern security failures — and we need experts who truly understand why. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. As an IAM Analyst, you'll apply your real-world security knowledge to help AI systems reason accurately about identity risk, access control failures, and enterprise security architecture.

This is a rare opportunity to put your IAM expertise to work on something that matters at a global scale — shaping how the next generation of AI thinks about security.

  • Organization: Alignerr

What You'll Do

  • Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations
  • Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related failures
  • Evaluate zero-trust models and access design decisions for correctness and risk
  • Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI systems
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning on security topics
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
  • Familiar with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them
  • Able to think like both a defender and an attacker when evaluating access scenarios
  • Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
  • No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

  • Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or similar
  • Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, or PAM solutions
