INTEGRATED LIVESTOCK OPERATIONS MANAGER – FM2606

Parys area, Free State Province – South Africa: To take full operational responsibility for the livestock enterprise, including feedlot operations, backgrounding systems, irrigated feed production, infrastructure, machinery, staff management and livestock performance, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Animal Science / Agriculture / Agricultural Management.
• Livestock Production or Agronomy (advantage).
• 10 years commercial beef experience.
• Feedlot management experience.
• Knowledge of Backgrounding systems.
• Previous experience with large-scale beef production.
• Irrigated crop production experience – silage, maize, lucerne and pastures production.
• Irrigation experience.
• Machinery management.
• Staff management.
