Our client is seeking an experienced SHEQ Officer to join their team and ensure a safe, compliant, and quality-focused working environment.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities Develop a thorough understanding of company processes and quality requirements Ensure compliance with all relevant SHEQ legislation and regulations, including COIDA and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) Provide quality and safety guidance to production teams and on-site operations Oversee quality control processes and drive continuous improvement Manage and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in SHEQ or a related field Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar SHEQ role within a related industry Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance Chemistry qualification or background will be advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
