Our client is seeking a Next Generation Accountant to join their team in Cape Town. This role offers exceptional exposure to cutting-edge financial ecosystems and next-generation business models. Minimum Requirements B.Com Degree with CA(SA) Strong accounting and financial reporting fundamentals Passion for or exposure to Web3, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, AI, and Digital Assets Interest in emerging technologies and the future of finance Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare management accounts, reconciliations, journals, and financial statements. Support the accounting and reporting of cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions. Assist with financial controls, compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements. Work closely with operational and technology teams to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities. Contribute to finance-related projects involving blockchain, digital assets, and automation initiatives Key Skills & Competencies Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge. Genuine interest in the evolution of finance in AI space. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
