POSITION INFO

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join their finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with experience in the insurance industry who enjoys working with data, reporting, and financial analysis in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing the flexibility to balance office collaboration with remote work. Minimum Requirements B.Com Degree in Accounting 1-4 years' accounting experience Previous experience within the insurance industry is a must Proficiency in SAP is essential Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis Project exposure or project accounting experience advantageous Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and month-end reporting. Assist with the preparation of management reports, financial analyses, and business performance reporting. Support budgeting and forecasting processes through the analysis of financial data and trends. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Utilise SAP and advanced Excel functions to analyse, interpret, and report on financial information. Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business on finance-related projects and initiatives. Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
