Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: R240,000.00 – R420,000.00 per annum

Job Overview

MyTalent is seeking a skilled and motivated Laravel Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development, be comfortable working with various technologies and frameworks, and be eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Laravel.
Integrate with various APIs and external services.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to produce cohesive and robust applications.
Write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular codes.
Perform peer code reviews and participate in team discussions and meetings.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP development with a focus on Laravel.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, such as MySQL or MongoDB.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue.js or React.js is a plus).
Experience with version control tools like Git.
