- Deliver products safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery where required.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
Customer Service
- Provide courteous and professional service during all customer interactions.
- Respond to customer queries professionally and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Represent Baobab Lesotho positively at all delivery locations.
Compliance & Safety
- Comply with all road traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Ensure the safe transportation and handling of products.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
- Valid Code A or AB Driver’s Licence.
Experience
- 2 years’ delivery driving experience will be an added advantage.
- Skills and Attributes
- Safe and defensive driving skills.
- Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to load and unload deliveries.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
