KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the maintenance and reliability of quarry and crushing plant equipment.
- Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical systems and machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improving plant efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Participate in fault-finding, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical breakdowns.
- Assist in implementing engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards within operational areas.
- Inspect conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and reporting activities.
- Analyze maintenance and operational data to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve operational targets.
- Develop technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation. Participate in training programmes, mentorship opportunities, and on-the-job learning to build engineering competence
