KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the maintenance and reliability of quarry and crushing plant equipment.
  • Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical systems and machinery.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improving plant efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Participate in fault-finding, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical breakdowns.
  • Assist in implementing engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards within operational areas.
  • Inspect conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and reporting activities.
  • Analyze maintenance and operational data to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve operational targets.
  • Develop technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation.
  • Participate in training programmes, mentorship opportunities, and on-the-job learning to build engineering competence

QUALIFYING CRITERIA
